Scents of Scandinavia

Memory has been linked to the sense of smell above others.

We invite you to partake in a journey of discovery or memory depending on your relationship to Scandinavian countries with the addition of the Skandinavisk Candle line. This candle line smells like a literal "breath of fresh air" and as you would imagine the clean crisp air that Scandinavian countries offer.

Lempi and Fjord are offered in a full size and a mini (votive) size. These candles make a perfect gift. They are boxed and come with a lid.

LEMPI - Old Finnish for ‘ love’

From the days when love was shamelessly romantic and best savoured in black and white. A timeless blend of rose and strawberry, garden peony and oakmoss.

JUL - Scandinavian for ‘Christmas’

Glowing windows in the darkness, generations gathered in harmony and tradition, yuletide treats tempting on the hearth. A richly spiced scent for the home with bold notes of baked gingerbread, melted honey, cloves, and warm gløgg.

FJORD - Norwegian

Coniferous forests, crashing waterfalls and abundant fruits magnify the drama of the

Norwegian fjords. With joyous notes of woods and ripening orchards, blackcurrants and

raspberry flowers.

NORDLYS

Norwegian for ‘northern light’

Magical, elusive, indefinable. The Northern Lights are one of nature’s seven wonders, a symphony of colour, movement and scale once thought by ancient norse chroniclers to be sun flares, great ocean fires or glacial fluorescence.

SNÖ - Swedish for ‘snow’

Nature’s treasured light during the long dark months of a Scandinavian winter. A fresh, crisp and icily dry scent infused with a hint of winter berries and frozen timberwood.
